Delaney, aka "Laney", "Laneybugs" and "Bugs" was the pick girl in our "A" litter. We enjoyed a lot of firsts with Delaney, not the least of which was her being our first homebred bench champion. An outstanding example of breed type, Delaney finished her championship easily, and went on to produce two beautiful litters for Moonsetter, our "C" and "E".
Also a phenomenal hunting dog, Delaney earned her Junior Hunter title before a year of age, and spent her days literally "living" to find those birds.
The decision to place her with the Keane's in Kansas wasn't an easy one, but their love of the Breed, more specifically Delaney's litter-sister Darby, and son Chase, made them a natural choice for our very special girl. Although we miss her more than words can say, knowing she gets to spend more time lounging on the hearth and hunting with her family members, makes it all worthwhile.
