Ryder is one of the twin boys of the "Storm" litter. He originally lived with and was co-owned by Bobbie Tucker of Oakisle Gordon Setters in Canada, who also owned Ryder's grandsire, Frazier (Can GCHEx/Am GCH Oakisle Knight Vision RN). In June of 2025, Ryder came back to us while his owner was undergoing chemo. He easily fit in with our "pack" and sired a litter out of our Veronica, producing our girl Imogen (who is one of his best buds!). Unfortunately, Ryder's owner passed away in June of 2026. We made the decision to keep this sweet boy after he won us over with his goofy Gordon boy personality and wonderful temperament.
At just under a year old, Ryder earned his Canadian Championship, and completed his Grand a few months later (both of these a first for us!). He's a regular Sporting Group placer in Canada, and also has his Canine Good Neighbor and Rally Novice titles.
At Ryder's first show in the U.S., the 2024 GSCA National Specialty, he was Reserve Winners Dog for a major! This National had the largest entry since 2004, and it was a thrilling win for us to see. When Ryder returned to the U.S. in June of 2025, he finished off his American Championship in one weekend with all majors, including a Specialty Winners Dog/Best Bred-by! Ryder will return to the ring in 2027 to work on his Grand.
Ryder has OFA Good Hips and Normal Elbows. Ryder is the sire of the "Snow" litter.
